LIFE COACHING

“Trish has made one of the most difficult times of my life positive and productive -- no easy task. Charting a path for a new chapter post-kids was daunting enough, but with a surprising layoff and breast cancer layered on top it felt nearly impossible. In a beautiful moment of grace a very good friend introduced me to Trish, and over the course of a few months she peeled back layer after layer of my false narratives, self-created hurdles and ritualistic excuses. With her coaching and guidance I was able to clearly articulate my goals and dreams and map out specific actions to take (sometimes big things, sometimes baby steps) to gradually bring them to life. I couldn't be more grateful for Trish's patience, wisdom, humor, sensitivity, and mostly for her ability to cut through my bullshit with compassion. I would recommend her coaching services to anyone struggling with a difficult transition or hill to climb.”

I’ve learned so much about myself and I am much more clear on my purpose in this world.  I now have the tools to help me achieve a deeper level of awareness both within me and around me, and to mindfully find and keep my center in challenging moments so that I can show up as my best self.

“Trish’s coaching helped me to align my mind with my gut, my soul.  Throughout the years, I have never been so relaxed.  I now embrace the atmosphere and accept the reality of what is.  I love this new chapter of my life.  What a beautiful new beginning.  I am in love with myself.

The Dash

by Linda Ellis

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning… to the end. He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own, the cars… the house… the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard; are there things you’d like to change? For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged. To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile… remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read, with your life’s actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash?
